The wß® Season 5

When we say, we are on the trip, extravagance come along. The wadi season 5 was one of the most memorable trip the wadi clan had over the last 5 years. Be it the sanction of the Wadi Tees ( Thnx to Vikrant and Sudhir's efforts ), or the two days stay at the Vikrant's farm house. Everything was much anticipated and it did work out.

Every Wadi trip sees a guest appearance. And this time it was, Suraj, the ever smiling chap. And also the maiden trip of Madhur. He had heard the myths from his brother mayur, about the fun we guys have on the new year eve, so he decided to jump in no matter whatsoever. The Tees worked a lot for the publicity. People in interior maharashtra would have taken us as some elite group coming for some survey. Least did they knew that we are the masti hoggers, I-giv-a f**kn-damn kind of people who have come once again to the wadi. The exceptions being the shop keeper in vikrant's village from where we bought the karat of cold drinks. He was like, "अच्छा तो तुम लोग वोही हो, जो रात को बीच पर मस्ती करते हो, और हर साल आते हो?" . I nodded thinking, Yeah dude you got us right!

This time we missed Mayur. But, we had two of his great possessions, one was madhur and of course the zing machine, the magenta santro. It was like our companion all the way in Goa and Maharashtra. Though not so far, But I am sure he was living the moment with us.

After the usual ceremony of our Wadi night on 31st, we were in kinda dilemma, what can be done next? There was neither constraint for money nor the leaves. The Vasco gang had come prepared after fooling their respective managers for granting them leaves, I never had to struggle much to take leaves, thanks to my "Amar Kathayein" that I shot always to my sweet and sexy manager. Madhur was just having another day in the life of Engineering boys, and Satya, the Principal, no comments further!!

We headed straight to the vikran't farm house and we planned to make lunch and dinner at home itself. Thanks to Satya and Madhur for showing their culinary skills and making delicious food for us. I liked the Chicken Keema ( it looked like one, whatever, I liked it ). After lunch on the 1st day of 2010, when most of you would be thinking of new year resolutions, we were sleeping like babies. Exhausted and tired to the core. The evening was exciting, with high tea and mixtures and as usual Dharam's philosophy on girls' nature ( not again!! ). We planned for the Sindhudurg Qilla. We had been there in Wadi season 3. Nevertheless, we didn't had much to do, so we set out for the Sindhudurg Qilla.

The drive was very pleasant. There were endless flat land on either side of the road, it was so exciting. We stopped the car by the road to have some good pics. Without wasting much time, suraj jumped on the whisky bottle and we started the roadside bar. Ambiance doesn't matter when the wadians are together. Be it my house terrace lounge or this roadside brewery. The hit single from Aarya 2 kept up the groove. After a good time, we hit the road again and drove till we parked the vehicle in malvan. The Fort was already exlored, so some of us didn't bother to check it out again, but the boat ride to the island was awesome. Again a hectic day, we returned by night.
The next day we had a plan to visit Vikrant's mama house. The very idea to visit somebody's house didn't excited us, we suggested some alternatives for the day trip, unaware of the fact that it was going to be one of the best place in our Itinerary. We all zeroed in to mama's place and hit the road again. This time, it was into the wild roads. We reached yet another beach ( beaches do not excite goans ), but this was different, a tiny fishing village with backwater flowing and joining the beach. It was a good sight. We waited for Vikrant's mama to come so that we could go for the Boating.

The boating in the back waters was a thrilling experience. We got divided to two teams, our team was led by satya being the rowman. And the other boat was rowed by mama's son. Satya wasn't an amateur in rowing, but coping with an expert was a difficult one. We lost the race, but, had an experience of lifetime. We decided to make this place in our must come list. After Bading goodbye to the khadapkars, we started back for the base camp, this time it was a night journey into the dusty roads, the Fun started on the road again, two bikes with vicky, dharam, suraj and vikrant made hell of noise on the road. The wadi spirit was just spilling out!! We made our way to the Vengurla and discovered a super affordable chinese restaurant. We hogged and hogged and the bill was not much. A voice came from the captain, "इस को भी लिस्ट में डालो, अब से hum खाना यहीं खायेंगे हर साल वादी ट्रिप पे। " We thought of chiling out at the Vengurla Port for sometime before we go back home. We couldn't spend quality time at the port because the Cops were around and we having alcohol in mind. We shot off for the base camp. Alcoholic madhur decided to have some gulps of whisky on the way, so we just stopped outside the village in the darkness. Vikrant's dad had come to the village for some work and that didn't really excite us to go back home. So all we had to do after going home was hit the bed. So was it, and we slept. Thinking of the days' fun we had in this trip. It was an extra-ordinaire par vivacious trip. I am sure all the wadians had given the same ratings! The next day we had to leave for home. A video to conclude the wadi trip was shot by madhur and everyone had a great feeling to show. We started around 11 or 12 ( time flies by when u r in wadi spirit ). Singing and merry making was the routine in our journey, but, it was not there this time as we were leaving and everyone, for sure, wanted some more of the trip. Responsibilities were calling, the feeling to join back the rat race saddened me a bit, but can't deny it anyways. As I was driving, I could hear the praises all over, and every one was like, "अरे मज़ा आ गया यारो!!" I vroomed on the highway as we left maharashtra and entered Goa. Leaving behind those exotic places in true wadi sense, but carrying a heap of memories to cherish all year long till we MEET AGAIN!!

The Colourful Memories..!!
